Instilling foundational skills for academic and equestrian success!
Myth: My child is too young to ride.
Meet two of my students, let’s call them Jane and Katherine. Jane started riding when she was two years old, developing her sense of balance and confidence. Katherine started riding when she was three years old, enhancing her sense of focus and courage. Both continue to be wonderful equestrians!
They feed…
They groom…
They ride…
They clean up after themselves…
They build meaningful connections…
Why is this important?
When these young equestrians are at the barn, they are having fun AND they are practicing skills they will need in school (and life) all under the loving guidance of our equine teachers.
When they feed and groom, they are learning the importance of caring for others. When they ride, they learn how their words and actions affect their surroundings. When they clean up after themselves they learn responsibility. All this culminates in the ultimate reward: a magical connection to a majestic animal.
Yes, they are toddlers. It’s the perfect time to start.
At the barn, these toddlers are growing into strong, confident, empathetic individuals.
I couldn’t be more proud of them!
